Mr. Lester Earl Edwards, age 56, a resident of Washington, NC died Saturday April 4, 2015.

In keeping with Lester’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday April 10, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

Lester was born in Beaufort County on January 11, 1959 son of the late Guy Lester Edwards and the late Lillie Mae Alligood Edwards. He attended Washington High School and was the owner/operator of Edwards Roofing Company. Lester was a member of Manteo Baptist Church.

Survivors are Lester’s brother: Danny Edwards and his wife Missy of Washington.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Lester Edwards Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, NC 27889.
