James Hardy Vanhorn, Sr., 62, of Creswell died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Vidant Bertie Hospital in Windsor. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Cherry Church of God with Pastor Charlie Asby officiating. Burial will follow in the Vanhorn Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 13, 2015, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Cherry Church of God and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
