New nurse practitioner joins Vidant Behavioral Health-Washington

GREENVILLE — C. Alexander Turner III, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, is joining Vidant Behavioral Health-Washington, located at 1308 Highland Drive.
He earned his master’s degree in nursing from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, with certification as an adult psychiatric nurse practitioner. Mr. Turner has 10 years of clinical psychiatric experience at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and Vidant Medical Center.
His areas of interest include treatment of mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. “Vidant Health and Vidant Behavioral Health-Washington represent the highest quality of health care in the region, and I am excited to join their experienced and talented team,” Turner said. “I look forward to being a partner in health care to the patients we serve in eastern North Carolina.”
