Mary Lou Cowan Jernigan, 78, of 118 W. Askewville Street, died May 3, 2015 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Askewville Baptist Church by Rev. Stephen Moore.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the home of Marla and Mike Baker, 117 W. Askewville St. Walker Funeral Home, Windsor is serving the Jernigan family.
