NEXT GENERATION: Pinwheel gardens abounded across the county in support of April being Child Abuse Prevention Month. Pictured is a hand-painted signs and pinwheels at Melinda Avery’s home in Washington. Avery hopes to inspire her two young daughters to take part in causes that affect our community.
