MELVINA “SIMONE” BAIN

Nov. 22, 1979 – May 13, 2015

 

Melvina “Simone” Bain, affectionately known as “Simone,” was born to Melvin O’Pharrow and Cathy Bain on November 22, 1979, at Wyckoff Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended Long Island University in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Simone is survived by her father, Melvin R. O’Pharrow; stepmother Mary O’Pharrow; mother Cathy Bain; two brothers, Christopher and Melvin Jr.; two sisters, Tamika Bain Adams and LaMecca Bain and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Simone passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 3015. Her funeral was held on Monday, May 18, 2015, at Grier Funeral Services, Charlotte, N.C.
