BATH COMMUNITY LIBRARY AT THE ‘WALK-IN’: The summer of 1982 found Americans enthralled with the science fiction-family film “ET the Extra-Terrestrial.” On Saturday, look back to that summer 33 years ago and share this timeless story of friendship with the next generation at the Bath Community Library Outdoor Movie showing of “ET.” This movie was made possible by the generous donation of Sharon Rose Britt, Attorney at law. She will also be donating goody bags with treats for viewers … Reese’s Pieces, anyone? The evening of old-fashioned summer fun begins at 7 p.m. with children’s activities, such as jumping rope, bubble blowing and sidewalk art. The movie will start around 8:15 p.m. The Bath Lion’s Club will be selling hot dogs, shaved ice and popcorn. Please bring blankets, lawn chairs and insect repellent. The event will be held adjacent to the Bath Community Library located at 102 S. Harding St. in Bath. For more information, call 252-923-6371, or go to the Bath Community Library’s Facebook Page.
