Dr. and Mrs. Larry J. Dobbs Jr., of Chocowinity are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Warner Dobbs, to Thomas Patrick Griffin.

Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Craven Griffin, of Washington.

The couple will exchange vows in a private ceremony at 5 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2015, at First United Methodist Church in Washington.
