Joe was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church in Washington, for over 23 years after moving from Jessup, MD, where he worshipped at First Ev. Lutheran Church for 34 years in Odenton, MD. Joe felt that his church family was of great importance to him.

We give special thanks to all of the staff on the third floor at Vidant Beaufort Hospital for their tender care of Joe in his last days.  We also give more special thanks to Pastor Ben Kifer for his love and concern for our family, Dr. Kenny Nall, Dr. David Lewis, Dr. John Inzerillo, Nicole DaVia, P.A., and Dr. Wilford (at Vidant Beaufort) for all their care for Joe.
