Mrs. Viola V. Spruill, 89, of 707-B East Main Street, Plymouth, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, N.C.

A funeral will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, 300 West Buncombe Street, Roper, N.C., with Bishop Daniel L. Gilliam Jr. officiating.

A committal service will be held at Lily of the Valley Church Cemetery, Plymouth.
