From North Carolina Estuarium

Local diver, fireman and dive shop owner Scotty Rose will speak at the North Carolina Estuarium on Sept. 24 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of our evening program series.

It’s no secret that North Carolina has some of the best coastal destinations in the world, but few realize that we are rated as one of the best dive destinations as well. Rose will speak to his years of experience underwater and shed light on all that the North Carolina depths have to offer. Featuring world-class wreck diving from Spanish galleons to German U-boats, spear fishing excursions and fossil finding destinations, the presentation promises to be entertaining and informative.

There is a $4 fee for this program. Seating is limited, so please call ahead to reserve your spot 252-948-0000.

The Estuarium is a facility of the Partnership for the Sounds, a non-profit organization promoting nature and heritage tourism in the Albemarle-Pamlico region.
