Dianna Cooper Toler Swain, 51, a resident of Colorado Springs, CO, died Sunday October 18, 2015, at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs, CO.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Long Acre Chapel Christian Church and will be officiated by Rupert Wallace. Burial will follow in the Long Acre Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Saturday October 24, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
Mrs. Swain was born in Beaufort County on April 18, 1964 to Elizabeth Toler. She attended Beaufort County Community College for an Associate’s degree in Electronic Data Processing where she met Douglas A. Swain. They married on December 6, 1986. She enjoyed crafts, puppies, Lighthouses, and her favorites Lady Bugs. One of her many nicknames was “Lady Bug”. She loved her friends, family and companions, Daisy and Sasha. Mrs. Swain was an incredibly resilient woman and a wonderful mother.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter Amanda Nicole Swain Lebanon, OR, her mother, Elizabeth Roberson Toler of Bath, and Anna Spevak of New Jersey.
She is preceded in death by her adopted father, Wilbur Blade Toler and her biological father Thomas Cooper.
