Farrow Named New Pastor At Albemarle Church of Christ

 Raffael Farrow has been called to serve as minister at Albemarle Church of Christ, beginning Sunday, November 1st. A Hyde County native and 1987 graduate of Roanoke Bible College (now Mid-Atlantic Christian University), he has served churches in North Carolina and Virginia.

 

He preached and ministered at several area churches – Nazareth Church of Christ in Kilkenny, Berea Church of Christ in Hertford and Swan Quarter Christian Church. His most recent preaching position was as minister at Poplar Creek Church of Christ in Grundy, Virginia, where he also served as Chairman of the National Prayer Clinic. He recently served with his wife Mary Elizabeth (Beth) as public relations representatives of Open Door Christian Ministries in Creswell, NC.

 

Farrow preached the Annual Revival at Albemarle last August. Visitors are invited to attend the Sunday service to meet the new minister.

 

The Albemarle Church of Christ is located at 3540 Albemarle Church Road. The church is the oldest church building in Tyrrell County, dating to 1854. The Church of Christ congregation was organized in 1871 and has met weekly since that time.
