Ms. Eloise Armistead, 89, of 106 South 12^th Ave., Mount Vernon, New York, a native of Washington County, passed away Sunday, January 03, 2016 at Westchester Medical Center in (Mount Pleasant) Vahalla, New York.

Visitation service was Friday, January 08, 2016 from 6:30 – 8:00pm at Puckett–Purkett Memorial Chapel, 300 West Buncombe Street, Roper, N.C.

Funeral service is Saturday, January 09, 2016 at 1:00 pm at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, corner of Third and Madison Street, Plymouth, N.C., with Rev. Dr. Harry Lee White Jr. officiating. Committal service will follow at Ellis Lee Cemetery, West Ave., Plymouth.

Family will receive other relatives and friends at 202 Thomas Street, Plymouth.
