Luksana “Luk” Srisa-Ard Haddock, age 63, a resident of The Pamlico Village Community of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Vidant Pitt in Greenville, NC.

Luk was born February 3, 1952 in Vientiane, Laos to the late Khamphense Srisa-Ard and Thongmard Jantaseing. After meeting her husband in Thailand she moved to Belhaven and later to Washington. She completed high school and received her bachelor’s degree from Mount Olive College. Luk was a human resource administrator with Stanadyne Corporation for 25 years before her retirement. She also served on the United Way Board. She later worked for the Boys and Girls Club and The Beaufort County Council on Aging. Luk was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 80 Cedar Circle in Washington, where she was president of the Relief Society and as Primary President, she was also active with the Cub Scouts. She was a Missionary and served in the Raleigh LDS Temple.

Survivors include one daughter Brenda Carraway of Washington, one son Donnie James Haddock Jr. and wife Myrla of Raleigh, and four grandchildren: Joshua, Makayla, Kendall, Josiah and Thalia. Also surviving is her brother Phongsak Srisa-Ard of Loploni, Thailand.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 30, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Washington with President Gary Whaley presiding. The family will receive friends today from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations and at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the Keech Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Donnie James Haddock Jr., Joshua Paul Clark Jr., Christopher Elks Jr., and Scott Simms.
