Annette Joyce Woolard Pipkin, age 81, a resident of Washington, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at her daughter’s home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Oakdale Cemetery and will be officiated by Pastor Wesley Taylor. Michael Kies, Jeremy Jones, Todd Nelson, Chris Baldwin, Jason Baldwin and Jeffrey Sawyer will serve as pallbearers.

Ms. Joyce was born in Beaufort County on July 26, 1934 to the late Johnnie Frank Woolard and Daisy W. Woolard. She was a great cook and loved flowers. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two children, Lynn Lewis and husband Harold of Aurora, Cathy Baldwin of Washington; five grandchildren, Nikki Kies and husband Michael, Leigh Ann Jones and husband Jeremy, Holly Nelson and husband Todd, Chris Baldwin and wife Dana, Jason Baldwin; eight great-grandchildren, Devin Griffin, Emily Baldwin, Alex Kies, Aaron Kies, Landon Nelson, Garrett Nelson, Dawson Jones, Alena Jones; two brothers, Bobby Woolard and wife Doris of Vanceboro, Melvin (Joe) Woolard and wife Charlotte of Washington; two sisters, Carol Latham and husband Bud of Washington and Oma Jay Harris-Buettner and husband Dan of Washington.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Frank Woolard Jr. and Otis Woolard.
