Mark R. Blake
Dec. 30, 1964 – March 8, 2016 

Mr. Mark Randall Blake, age 51, a resident of Washington, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Ridgewood Nursing Center of Washington.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at First Christian Church of Belhaven, officiated by Dr. Burke Holland. Burial will be private at Davis Cemetery of Pantego. Mark’s cousins will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church on Friday.

Mark was born in Taiwan Republic of China on December 30, 1964, son of Marlin “Rudolph” Blake who survives and the late Norma Jeane Jefferson Blake.

He was a 1983 graduate of Pungo Christian Academy of Belhaven. Mark worked with O.C. Jones Electrical Contractors as an Electrician Apprentice and was a member of First Christian Church of Belhaven.

Surviving along with Mark’s father Rudolph of Washington are two brothers: Steven Marlin Blake and wife Drucilla of Goldsboro and James Gregory Blake and wife Jan of Matthews, NC; and a sister: Vega B. Miles and husband Ronnie of Washington.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to First Christian Church, P.O. Box 577, Belhaven, NC 27810.
