Duke
A handsome, black and tan hound-mix, Duke displays a calm, gentle and sweet personality. At 8 years old, he’s tall, a little shy, due to unfamiliar surroundings, but he’s fond of being petted, being talked to and getting biscuit treats. Duke needs consistency in his life, tender loving care, and a forever home with attentive owner(s), willing to give him companionship, good food and exercise suitable to his age on a leash or fenced-in area.
More photos of Duke may be found at www.facebook.com/EncShelterDogs (ID No. 0278). He is available through Tuesday, March 29 at the shelter, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, Washington. Due to the observance of Easter, the shelter will be closed on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26. The shelter will resume normal hours on Monday, March 28. The shelter is open to the public on weekdays from 1-5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 11-3 p.m.
Blaze
Sweet as an orange creamsicle and about the same color, with a little more cream and darker orange stripes, that’s Blaze. At 3 months old, this adorable tabby boy, with gorgeous blue eyes and a pink nose, likes to be held and sweet-talked. Blaze is gentle, a tad shy, due to his surroundings, calm and friendly. He will make a wonderful addition in a variety of good forever-home settings.
