Mr. Jimmie Odis Wells, age 70, a resident of 1004 Simmons St., Washington, died Thursday, March 24, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Wells was born in Beaufort County on December 21, 1945 to the late George and Nellie Watson Wells. He married Josephine Joyce Whitaker who preceded him in death on June 6, 1996.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary E. Wells and husband, Nathan Limbaugh of Washington, his son, Jimmy Wells Jr. and wife Linda of Richmond, Virginia, six grandchildren, Dylan Wells, Jason Wells, Hannah Limbaugh, Sarah Limbaugh, Crystal Martin, Danny Limbaugh, one brother, Ray wells of Virginia, two sisters, Ann Baily and husband Freddie of Chesapeake, Virginia and Marie Thomas of Chesapeake, Virginia. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Wells.
