ON THE TABLE: The J.A. Wilkinson Center hosted its second annual fundraiser Wine, Dine and Design this year. The fundraiser benefits the preservation of the building, which houses a Fitness Center and a venue for many local activities including weddings, the arts, etc. Twenty-three local companies and individuals donated $500 to decorate a table with a theme and invited guests to the event. There were 193 attendees and an amazing display of creativity at each table. Diane M. Edwards, a broker with Coldwell Banker Coastal Rivers Realty (CBCRR) was one of the companies sponsoring a table. Diane was joined by Gerri McKinley and Maria Wilson from CBCRR, along with several guests. The event featured an appetizer table, a catered luncheon with salads and soups and an amazing ice cream bar. There was music and a silent auction. Guests ate on china or porcelain with silverware and cloth napkins.
