Mr. Darrell Thomas “Buddy” Clark Jr., age 50, a resident of 2081 Chandler Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, April 4, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, officiated by Rev. Joseph Ange. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery with David Rowe Sr., David Rowe Jr., Greg Rowe, Michael Rowe, Harold Bright Jr. and Lonnie Taylor serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the home of Buddy’s mother, located at 2081 Chandler Road, the Wilmar community of Vanceboro.

Buddy was born in Beaufort County on December 23, 1965, son of the late Darrell T. Clark Jr. and Eva Lorraine Heath Clark who survives. He was a 1984 graduate of Chocowinity High School. He worked with various industrial construction companies including Roberts Company of Winterville as a pipe fitter.

Surviving along with his mother Lorraine of Vanceboro are two brothers: Ricky Clark and wife Sherry of Chocowinity and Robert Smith Jr. of Vanceboro; nieces and nephews: Alexandra Clark, Dakota Smith, Danielle Clark and Taylor Clark; and a special friend and companion: Wendy Rowe.
