Franklin “Frankie” McCoy Hughes, 77, of Lellie Hughes Road, Merry Hill, NC, passed away April 19, 2016 after a battle with both cancer and COPD.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Riverside Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Gene Martin and Rev. David Baker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 21th from 7-8:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from the home at other times.
