Mr. Michael Levon Whitehurst, 62, of 5 Alice Court, New York City, New York, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York.

Funeral service will be May 6, 2016 at 11:00am at Biggs-Brown Funeral Chapel, Mercedes’ Funeral Mansion, 310 Washington St., Williamston, NC, with Bishop Curtis D. Wilder of Grainger’s Chapel Church of Christ, D.O.C., officiating. Interment will be at the Whitehurst Family Cemetery, Jamesville, NC.

The Whitehurst family will be receiving family and friends at 2324 Free Union Town Rd., Jamesville.
