Mr. Jeffrey Lee Conner, 55, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 PM in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Jeff, a longtime Pitt County resident, worked with Piggly Wiggly in Washington for over 20 years.

He was a member of Grimesland Free Will Baptist Church.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Sandra Conner and sister, Melanie Pollard Locklear.

He is survived by his: wife of 34 years, Tammy Hardy Conner; daughter, Brittany Conner Penaranda and husband, Bill; son, Jeffrey Lee Conner Jr.; grandchildren, Cristian Lopez Garcia and Ariella Penaranda, all of Grimesland; sisters, Carrie Sanderson and husband, James, Debbie Lotzin and husband, Ricardo, Cathy Ramirez and husband, Jerry; brother, Terry Conner; and special friends, Linda Langley, Tim Siders and Leon Peaden.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
