Bobby Gene Modlin, 83, of Plymouth, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Gospel Light Church of Christ, Dardens, with Jim Cooper, Leonard Bowers and Bryant Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Modlin Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Gospel Light Church of Christ and other times at the residence.
