Mr. Phillip Thorne “Phil” Newberry, age 66, a resident of 188 Loop Rd. # 1, Pantego, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Duke Medical Center in Durham.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Union Grove Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Steiner Family Cemetery of the Grassy Ridge community of Pantego.

The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Union Grove Church of Christ.
