Ms. Ellen Faye Keech, age 83, a resident of Walton Lane, Washington, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her home.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Asbury United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Reed.

Ms. Keech was born in Pitt County on December 26, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Keech and Bertie Lee Moore Keech. Ms. Keech worked at National Spinning for 38 years retiring as a Quality Control Inspector. In her spare time, she loved to read, crochet and taking care of her family.

Ms. Keech is survived by two sisters, Virginia Cooper and Shirley Asby, both of Washington; two brothers, James Keech of Goldsboro, Marvin Keech of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews including Kit Ingalls, with whom she lived.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Keech was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Keech and Carlton Keech; and one sister, Patricia Sutton.
