Mrs. Judy Ann Jackson Pinkham, age 68, a resident of 1842 Cherry Road, Washington, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 17, 2016 at Alligood Church of God, conducted by Pastor Phillip Jethro. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Ted Woolard, Toby Woolard, Ronnie Woolard, Kenny Parker, Scott Sims, and Rudy Roberson.

Mrs. Pinkham was born in Beaufort County on September 17, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Walter Edward Jackson and Bertha Baker Jackson. Mrs. Pinkham was a retired licensed practical nurse. She worked at Beaufort County Hospital and several nursing homes in the area. Mrs. Pinkham was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and attended Alligood Church of God. In her spare time, she loved to take trips and listening to country music.

Mrs. Pinkham is survived by her husband of 47 years, Edward Earl Pinkham of the home; two sons, Joey Pinkham and his fiancé’, Kimberly Hillenbrand of Washington, Troy Lee Pinkham of Washington; a brother, Walter Elwood Jackson, Jr. of Grimesland; a sister, Betty Sue Braxton of Washington.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pinkham was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Carol Pinkham and a son, Edward Earl Pinkham, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to the funeral hour Monday, October 17, 2016 at Alligood Church of God and other times at the home.
