The City of Washington will be testing and flushing water from hydrants the week of Nov. 7. Water customers may notice some cloudiness in tap water during the testing period because of sediments floating in the water lines. The discoloration is harmless and will clear up after a short period, according to the city’s Pubic Works Department. Anyone with questions about the testing and flushing should call 252-975-9310.
