Decked out in Halloween costumes, local seniors celebrated the season on the grounds of the Grace Martin Harwell Senior Center on Friday with live music provided by Beaufort County Traditional Music Association members, games, dancing, a costume contest and more. Winners of the costume contest were: (left to right) butterfly Bette Hamilton, third place; lady pig Judy Crisp, second place; flower pot Lorraine Fillingame, first place; and the masked queen Mary Smith, honorable mention.
