Clement “Captain Willie” Foster

Clement “Captain Willie” Foster, 67, of 1924 Old Pamlico Beach Road, Belhaven, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 in his home. Captain Willie was born on November 8, 1949 in Beaufort County to Mamie Allena Wilkins and Major Wilson.

Surviving include his wife Jackie Wilkins Foster; two stepdaughters Wanda Hopkins of Washington and Stephanie Squires and her husband Russell of Plymouth; two stepsons Noland Wilkins and his wife Jo of Belhaven and Allena Hale and her husband David of Chocowinity; two sisters Miriam Irene Guthrie and Myra Faye Sullivan, both of Belhaven; two brothers Bobby Gray Foster and Carl Wilson Foster, both of Belhaven; and 5 step-grandchildren.

Captain Willie was preceded in death by his sister Peggy Lou Fulford, his brother Dalton Foster and his step-grandson Cameron Squires.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Ryder Hill Cemetery in Pamlico Beach with Revs. Eric Hill and Dean Fulford officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday at Life Gate Free Will Baptist Church from 6:00–8:00 PM and at other times at their home.
