George Henry Trueman Jr., age 79, a resident of Washington, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Trueman was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 10, 1937 to the late George Henry Trueman and Dorothy Mae Cornelius Trueman. He was a former resident of Scenic Lakes in Hamburg, NJ. He retired from his job of 35 years as a supervisor in Con Edison, New York and moved to Washington. Mr. Trueman loved to play guitar and sing. He was a former Mason, a good artist and loved to cook.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann Trueman; four daughters, Judy Jones and husband Marvin of Sparta, TN, Allyson Balunis and husband Daniel of Franklin, NJ, Dori Haddad and husband Jeries of Washington, NC, Jennifer Zduniak and husband Scott of Cochranville, PA; five grandchildren, Aja Heinrich, Jorge Haddad, Victoria Haddad, Casey Zduniak, Kennedy Zduniak; two great-grandchildren, Logan Balunis, Livia Heinrich; a sister Dorothy Speranza and husband Victor of NJ.

He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Jenna Balunis.
