PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Knowledge Wharton High School hosted their 11th PwC-KWHS seminar for high school educators on business and financial responsibility.

Two Mattamuskeet Early College High School teachers, Lisa Spencer and Melody Williams, were chosen from a pool of more than 250 applicants to attend this experience at the Wharton’s Philadelphia campus on Dec. 2-4.

This comprehensive, three-day learning experience was designed to help highly motivated educators expand their understanding of personal finance and develop business-related skills that they can immediately integrate into their classrooms. The educators attended applied-learning sessions to discover practical ways to incorporate their new knowledge into the classroom, as well as sessions to share ideas and best practices. In addition to new ideas and tools, the educators came away from the seminar strengthened in their mission as business, entrepreneurship, economics, CTE, accounting and personal finance teachers.
