Billy Frank Hoover, age 79, a resident of Belhaven, died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the First Christian Church in Belhaven.

Survivors include his wife, June P. Hoover, his mother, Bessie Hoover of Hopewell, VA, a daughter, Tonya Hoover of Tampa, FL, a stepdaughter, Jana Lawson and husband Joe of Charleston, SC, a stepson, Rick Beasley and wife Diana of Smyrna, GA, three grandchildren, Joseph Lawson and wife Kim, Christopher Lawson, Sean Lawson and wife Emily, three great-grandchildren, Gracie Lawson, Tripp Lawson, Brynn Lawson, and a sister-in-law Brenda Hoover.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ervin B. Hoover and a brother Charles Hoover.
