Hunter Wayland “Scookie” Spruill, 72, of Powell Avenue, Windsor, NC, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Windsor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at their home on Powell Avenue.
