During the week heading into Christmas, the Daily News held its inaugural Christmas Lights Contest through its Instagram account. Participants were asked to share photos of lights and decorations and tag the Daily News in the post. The two entries with the most likes are pictured here. More than 220 people participated in the contest, whether they were liking photos or sharing entries. First place went to the simple, yet elegant Christmas display at Todd and Laura Berry’s yellow house on West Main Street. Second place went to Washington’s own all-out light show, located at the Dears’ home on West Second Street. Congratulations to the winners!
