Jerry Hal Cuthrell, age 85, a resident of Washington, died Monday, January 2, 2017 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC.

Mr. Cuthrell was born in Beaufort County on July 9, 1931 to the late Alfred Barney and Lucy Burbage Cuthrell. On June 21, 1960 he married the late Constance “Connie” Anita Midyette Cuthrell who preceded him in death on July 12, 2015.

Survivors include his son David Burbage Cuthrell.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by a son, Jeff Cuthrell, and two brothers, Keith “Coniston” Cuthrell and Barney Owen Cuthrell.
