Jan. 22-28 was designated as National School Choice Week, which was meant to encourage families to assess the options for K-12 education for their children for the 2017-2018 school year. There were 586 events planned in North Carolina to commemorate the week. Classical Conversations, a homeschool support group led by Caroline Collie, got in on the action by donning the School Choice Week’s yellow scarves.
