This week, Smoke on the Water, Washington’s annual barbecue festival, revenues were presented to recipients by Washington (noon) Rotary Club President Pam Anderson. Smoke on the Water is one of the club’s largest fundraisers. All proceeds from the annual October event go directly back into the community. Receiving checks last Monday were Lt. Col. Tom Meeks and Sasha Reid, of the Washington High School ROTC, and Steven Clayton, director of the Grace Martin Harwell Senior Center in Washington.
