Mr. Robert Edward “Rob” Moore of Winterville, NC, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 19, 2017 at his home.

Graveside services will be 4:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be conducted by Marty Alligood. Mark Woolard, Jim Woolard, Pooh Woolard, Tim Sparrow, Bobby Hevernan, Richard Powers, Doug Snyder and Gordon Boone will serve as pallbearers. Fritz Tanner and Roger Whitson, Will Edwards and Chase Edwards will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Rob was born October 17, 1968 in Cape Canaveral, Florida to Karen Jade Moore and the late H.C. Lilley Jr. He was a 1987 graduate of Bath High School, was manager of Golden Corral for many years, was sales manager with Oakwood Homes and was currently owner of a State Farm Agency in Tarboro. He loved karaoke, singing, the computer and most of all his boys and mother.

Survivors include two sons, Travis Austin Moore and Jackson Gray Moore of Apex; his mother, Jade Moore Harris of Pinetown; aunts, Melanie Moore and Lael M. Pelt of Bath; uncles, Jacob Robert and Jeremy Robert of Pinetown; three stepsisters, Breth Howerin Powers, Lisa Howerin Snyder, Dana Harris Brooks and one stepbrother, Martin Harris. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Doris Moore of Bath, and two stepfathers, Michael Howerin and Booger Harris.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of his mother, 1827 Boyd Loop Road, Pinetown.
