BELHAVEN — West Belhaven Church of Christ will be the scene of a great Easter celebration April 13-14, as the congregation presents “The Easter Song,” a captivating Easter musical and drama.

Each year we celebrate by remembering — by retelling the account of our Savior’s last days on Earth, his death and his glorious resurrection. Every detail of this story is crucial to understanding exactly what our Lord suffered for us. “The Easter Song” recreates this epic narrative from the Scripture with electrifying detail. From the agonizing tension of Jesus’ arrest and trials, to the heart-breaking account of his scourging and crucifixion, and the breathtaking joy of his resurrection, “The Easter Song” tells this remarkable story of redemption through music and drama.

This will be the 10th year West Belhaven Church of Christ has told the story of Christ’s last days through the combination of song and drama. The outpouring of community support and encouragement has led the congregation to continue presenting the program.

“The Easter Song” will lead guests to remember the sacrifice our Lord Jesus paid for all of us.

The community is invited to attend this worship experience April 13-14, at 7:30 p.m. each night at West Belhaven Church of Christ, 1014 W. Main St., Belhaven. Admission is free. Come and be blessed.
