The Old Ford Ruritan Club met on April 6. Lt. Kelly Cox from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office was our guest speaker. Cox spoke about the Beaufort County Crime Stoppers program and the importance of reporting any suspicious behavior that is observed. He also reported that the Sheriff’s patrol has increased its presence in local neighborhoods where they have not previously been patrolling. The Old Ford Ruritan Club consists of community people meeting community needs and meets the first Thursday of every month.  Anyone interested in joining Ruritan is welcomed. For more information, contact Rich Noble at 518-339-9919.
