Mr. Robert “Bobby” Dixon Cratch, age 75, a resident of Williamston, NC, died Sunday, April 30, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be officiated by Dr. Robert Cayton. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Danny Carrow, Alan Carrow, Bryan Bonner Jr., Josh Edwards, David Leary, Keith Leary and Glenn Alligood.

Mr. Cratch was born in Norfolk, VA on May 17, 1941 to the late Claud Dixon Cratch and Sybil Cayton Cratch. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Cratch worked as a truck driver most of his adult life.

He is survived by two brothers, Richard C. Cratch and wife Brenda of Percy, IL, Sidney Ray Cratch of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sisters, Janet C. Leary of Grantsboro, NC, and Sylvia Faye Bennett of Cary, NC; brother-in-law, James Johnson of Edward, N.C.; five nephews and two nieces.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
