Washington Mayor Mac Hodges proclaimed the weekend of May 20 as “Senior Citizens” weekend at Mt. Hebron Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, in recognition of the efforts of the Mt. Hebron’s senior citizens to bring outstanding changes in the church and community. The weekend, themed “Age Out Loud,” is part of a large national recognition of older American during the month of May. Mt. Hebron salutes its senior citizens for their active roles on boards and committees, visiting the sick and nursing homes, as well as providing spiritual growth, dedication, love, strength and compassion to the church and its members.
