Mayhew “Pee Wee” Cayton Jr., 73, of Oil City, LA., died July 10, 2017. “Pee Wee”, son of the late Mayhew and Lillian Dixon Cayton, passed away at the home of his son, Mark in Shreveport, LA after a battle with heart disease. He is survived by his sons Mark and Scotty, a daughter, Angela, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Joan Baker (Wayne), Pat Newsom (Gary), of Chocowinity and Catherine Dixon (Thomas) of Washington. “Pee Wee” served in the US Air Force for 4 years and later worked as a heating and air conditioning mechanic until retirement. He loved fishing, spending most of his leisure time on Lake Caddo, singing country music and playing his guitar. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joyce Cayton Whichard (Billy), Bobby B. Cayton (Norene), Travis M. Cayton (Ann).
