Eleanor Leggett Clark, 69, of Grimesland, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 11 am at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Clark, a native of Beaufort County, grew up in the Leggetts Crossroads community, and was a graduate of Washington High School. For over 25 years, she was employed with National Spinning and was a home interior distributor. While attending West Vanceboro Church of God she taught Sunday School. She was a member of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a children’s church worker, choir member and Sunday School treasurer. A loving, devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Mrs. Clark will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her: husband of 52 years, Thurman Lee Clark; daughter, Angela Lynn Clark Fillingame and husband, Hilton, of Cove City, NC; granddaughter, Cassidy Lynn Fillingame; brothers, Robbie Leggett and wife, Carol, and Ricky Leggett and wife, Flame, all of Washington; and a sister, Maggie Davenport, of Washington.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
