Stathel Sawyer Spruill, 103, of Creswell, died Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Roanoke Landing in Plymouth.

Funeral service was held Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Philippi Church of Christ with Glenn Brickhouse and Larry Woodley officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Family received friends on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Philippi Church of Christ, and will receive friends other times at the residence of her daughter, Merida.
