Ms. Jennifer Lynette Arnold Marslender, age 40, a resident of Chocowinity, died Friday, August 18, 2017.

A memorial service will be held 12 Noon Friday, August 25, 2017 from the chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, conducted by Pastor Ken White.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and other times the home of her mother, Betty Arnold, 100 Farm Lane, Washington.

Ms. Marslender was born in Sarasota, Florida on January 5, 1977. She was the daughter of Betty Holland Arnold and the late Charles Leon Arnold. Ms. Marslender was a hairdresser. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Osprey, Florida.

Ms. Marslender is survived by her husband, Joshua Marslender; mother, Betty Arnold of Washington; daughter, Haylee Simpkins of Washington; son, David Simpkins of Washington; father of her children, David Simpkins of Washington; brother, Charles G. Arnold (Dawn) of Plymouth; one niece; two nephews; several cousins, including Linda Arnold Holland; and several aunts and uncles living in Florida.

In addition to her father, Ms. Marslender was preceded in death by a sister, Christy Arnold.
