On Aug. 17, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6088 in Washington held an appreciation dinner to recognize Nick Dotson, Eagle Scout candidate, for his work making much-needed repairs to the exterior of VFW Hut Post 6088 and updating the landscaping. The Iron Order Motorcycle Club-Skeleton Krew of Washington was also honored for providing assistance to Nick in completing his Eagle Scout project. Nick previously held a pancake and sausage dinner to raise funds for construction materials and supplies. He donated any funds left over to the VFW Post 6088.
