Classical Conversations in Washington, a local homeschool group, recently held its first meeting of the year. The group meets at First United Methodist Church on Tuesdays for 24 weeks a year. This year, Classical Conversations has 19 students between the ages of 4 and 12. There are three classes with three tutors, each serving a different age group.

“We are so excited that the Classical Conversations Washington community has tripled since our start just one year ago. We feel like we’ve found the best of both worlds in giving our kids the chance to learn in community while simultaneously enjoying the benefits of a tailored education at home,” group founder Caroline Collie said.
